Hunt & Hunt was first established as early as 1794 in the then rural market town of Romford, Essex. Since establishing itself in Romford it is fair to say that the town has developed and with that the firm of Hunt and Hunt has adapted. Over 200 years we have seen our clients vary from agricultural land owners and businesses to residents and businesses of a large London suburban town.
In May 2014 Hunt & Hunt announced the conversion of the partnership from Hunt & Hunt to Hunt & Hunt LLP. Our conversion reflects the changing structure of the legal profession whilst we continue to offer our clients high quality legal services tailored to their needs.
We are proud that the diversity that we have achieved in our legal practices means that we are able to provide practical and sensible advice at a reasonable cost on a range of subject matters tailored to our varied client base.
Our clients include limited companies, unincorporated businesses and partnerships, individuals, trusts and local organisations such as charities and clubs.
We are members of the Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme. We hold contracts with the Legal Service Commission for family work and a number of our fee earners are members and accredited specialists of Resolution (previously the Solicitors Family Law Association).
Our objective is to provide information, help and advice at a fair price and throughout our website we have intended to be as transparent as possible with our fees. If you are unclear as to our fees, or if you feel your matter is particularly complex, please contact us and we shall be happy to talk with you and give a clearer picture.
Our clients value our independence. Many firms pay referral fees to estate agents and other organizations. We do not. We look after our clients’ interests; not anyone else’s.
